About IIHS Jinja

The International Institute of Health Sciences (IIHS) in Jinja, Uganda, offers a range of health-related programs. Here’s an overview:

  1. Diploma Extension Programs: Extension program is offered in both Midwifery and Nursing. A student, is eligible for admission if he/she completed a certificate in Nursing or Midwifery and he/she has worked for atleast two(2) years. 

  2. Diploma Direct:  It is offered in Nursing and Midwifery. A student is eligible for admission if he/she completed Advanced Level of Education (UACE).

  3. Certificate: it is offered in Nursing and Midwifery. A student is eligible for admission is he/she completed Ordinary Level (O-Level) of Education.
